Gud Tonics

Gud Tonics is a line of kava-based drinks created under Rebel Brands in 2023.

Rebel Brands (at that time Empowered Solutions) have had well-established presence on the market with their kratom-based herbal drinks and powders. The new goal was to launch a fun, playful brand to position Gud Tonics as a go-to when craving a refreshing summer drink.

The first drink in the line was "TropiColada", based of a famous cocktail.

Branding & Identity

I've worked with the marketing team to bring their vision for the new drink to life - they envisioned Gud as a playful, fun, youthful brand. We explored a couple of variations for the name, and decided to go with Güd, where ü will be stylized to resemble a smiley face. This gave us a strong, yet versatille symbol to use accross different projects in the future.

Behind the Design

The Result

I've developed a brandbook, a set of labels, as well as display boxes. Each label had an unique pictogram, and each box unique pattern. This gave us endless possibilities for our future flavors.

Promotional Material

In the following years, I've created numerous posters, flyers, banners, social media posts etc to promote this brand.
